The Macintosh Business Unit is looking for software developers with great experience and/or potential to join our world class team of application engineers.

MacBU is a highly independent team at Microsoft focused 100% on Mac OS X development. The work is primarily in C++ with a wide range of exposure to the rich technologies of Apple's rapidly evolving platform. Relevant experience is a plus, but is not required.

We build and maintain end-to-end ownership of the Mac-native version of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Messenger for the Mac; the combined power of the Office suite and the latest Mac technologies presents developers with exceptional opportunities for ownership, autonomy and professional growth. We have very recently completed the most ambitious release in our history, with major changes in all applications and support for both the PowerPC and Intel x86 processor architectures. We are also gearing up for the next steps at a very exciting juncture in the productivity space.

Our positions call for motivated engineers who can learn quickly, independently manage priorities and work creatively and energetically.
