Firmware Lead

The successful candidate will work within a team of engineers and technicians in the development of processor based sensors which must operate at extreme temperatures. The processor based sensors will be utilized in the exploration of oil and gas wells. The candidate is expected to provide quality code for a high reliability product. Modular programming style is required. The candidate will have a working knowledge of digital hardware and software design. The candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining firmware for embedded projects.

Qualifications include:

· At least 4 years experience in embedded system design.

· Familiar with microprocessor/microcontroller based design. Experience in ARM 7, ARM 9 highly desired. Knowledge of HC11 and PIC based design will be a plus.

· Understanding of analog and mixed signal circuits is desirable.

· Commercial RTOS and C programming language required

· Exposure to GNU compiler desired

· Real time operating systems

· Familiar with Linux operating system

· Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineeringor similar discipline required
