Electrical Design Engineer Sensor Interface

The successful candidate will work within a team of engineers and technicians in the development of processor based sensors which must operate at extreme temperatures. The processor based sensors will be utilized in the exploration of oil and gas wells. The job position requires knowledge of interfacing to various sensors (vibration, pressure, inertial). Previous exposure to high reliability or high temperature designs is preferred. The candidate will be expected to participate in concept and design reviews, supervise testing, and write engineering reports. The candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining embedded system hardware.

· At least 5 years experience in designing sensor interfaces

· Knowledge of sensor physics

· Experience with high reliability or temperature designs.

· Experience with portable/low power design

· Master's or Bachelor's Degreein Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline required

· Understanding of signal integrity principles and noise reduction techniques.

· Experience with high resolution analog measurements

· Firmware programming experience in C is a plus
