This position is a key player in the commercial lending group, acting as the primary contact for closing attorneys and also serving as the liaison between loan officers and our commercial clients. Other essential responsibilities include (but are not limited to): requesting advice from bank counsel when necessary, preparing commitment letters, ordering and reviewing appraisals, ensuring all loan packages are in compliance with Bank policy and federal/state lending guidelines, and resolving any issues that arise during the lending process.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated understanding of lending and loan processing; excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, basic math, and PC skills are required. Strong rapport-building, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential. A demonstrated level of proficiency with MS Office is required, and experience with Laser Pro lending software is desired but not required. A HS diploma or equivalent is required and some college is preferred.

This position is located at our Stonehouse operations center in Toano.
